Web Marketing is a constantly changing arena which is a highly interesting field to keep abreast of. I have specialised in search engine optimisation and web marketing since 2004 and have a proven record of success. I have always given the client realistic expectations of their SEO and web marketing potential and possibilities.
The naive believe that all that needs to be done is to buy a domain and build a site in order to get ranked well and therefore more business. This is patently not the case in the vast majority of instances.
If you are competing on a generic key phrase then buying a domain and building a website is only the first step on a never ending ladder. You will have to constantly maintain your ever changing web marketing activity simply to stay where you are, this is assuming you are already where you’d like to be. If you are lucky enough to need to compete on a niche key phrase then the job may be much easier.
I can provide all possible web marketing services depending on the clients requirements and budget.
The below list is the current web marketing services I believe are necessary to compete on a high level.
- Linking strategies particularly non-reciprocal one-way links.
- Web 2.0 particularly blogging, forums and article submission.
- Keyword density analysis and tweaking
- Social networking usage (facebook, tweeter, linkedin, digg, etc…)
As an example of a unique web marketing opportunity I took advantage of at an early stage in my experience. The million dollar homepage was a great idea that started a phenomenon in web marketing... selling pixels! This was the first instance of pixel selling; 1 Million pixels for $1 each. I got in quite early and bought these pixels for the company for which I was doing SEO:
There are links to 5 different websites contained within the image, at one point the 5 sites were recieving 60000 clicks a month just from this one image. 5 years on is still equates to 1/3 of the traffic for 1 particular website.
